Sets the image address level for each of the specified fields. Image addressing uniquely tags every image in a batch, helping with workflows. When combined with printing it allows an image to be matched to its original physical sheet of paper. Incremental counting typically takes place on the lowest level for every scanned sheet. This can be overridden to increment a different counter level, either through manual intervention on the scanner, or using Patch Code Detection, which is described in this document.
Set CAP_IMAGEADDRESSENABLED to TRUE before accessing these fields. Refer to the section on Capability Ordering to correctly negotiate these settings. An application must set all the supported Image Addressing capabilities to guarantee a correct result. Typical settings include, but may not be limited to the following: Addressing IAFIELDA_LEVEL IAFIELDB_LEVEL IAFIELDC_LEVEL IAFIELDD_LEVEL IAFIELDE_LEVEL Level 1 TWIA_FIXED TWIA_LEVEL TWIA_UNUSED TWIA_UNUSED TWIA_UNUSED Level 2 TWIA_FIXED TWIA_LEVEL TWIA_LEVEL TWIA_UNUSED TWIA_UNUSED Level 3 TWIA_FIXED TWIA_LEVEL TWIA_LEVEL TWIA_LEVEL TWIA_UNUSED Level 4 TWIA_FIXED TWIA_LEVEL TWIA_LEVEL TWIA_LEVEL TWIA_LEVEL
Support this capability if the scanner supports image addressing. Return TWRC_FAILURE / TWCC_CAPSEQERROR if CAP_IMAGEADDRESSENABLED is not set to TRUE. Negotiating these capabilities resets the CAP_IAFIELD _PRINTFORMAT, CAP_IAFIELD _VALUE, and CAP_IAFIELD _LASTPAGE values.
